Creating Consciously Connected Communities

Encouraging connection and shared experiences in the local community that enhance wellbeing and improve the natural environment

Totally Tynemouth

Making Tynemouth a positive place to work, live and visit

Totally Tynemouth is our local community group powered by amazing volunteers who share a passion for our vibrant village. We facilitate activities such as community clean-ups, family fun days, and wellbeing walks. As a group, we were recently awarded funding from the Police and Crime Commissioner's 'Operation Payback' fund.

Yours was one of several stand out projects that I believe can really help to repair the harm caused by crime and anti-social behaviour in Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, as well as contribute to helping me deliver my policing and crime priorities which are fighting crime, preventing crime and improving lives.

Let's Talk - Climate Connections

Delivering fully-funded training in response to the climate crisis

Responding to the climate crisis needs to be a priority at a grassroots level in every community. In 2022, we received support from the National Lottery through 'Together for Our Planet'. This funded our project 'Let's Talk - Climate Connections North Tyneside', which provides free training to individuals and community groups across the borough. Sessions cover the relationship between environmental sustainability and mental wellbeing and help people to take steps towards reducing their carbon footprint. We’ll also use part of the funding to host a community sustainability event later this year.
